The Snowman

I know for the Brits in the crowd, this is probably a yawn, but I wanted to share this magical video with those who may not have ever seen it.  It’s been a favorite of mine for quite a while now.

The song:

We’re walking in the air
We’re floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below
Are sleeping as we fly
I’m holding very tight
I’m riding in the midnight blue
I’m finding I can fly
So high above with you

Far across the world
The villages go by like dreams
The rivers and the hills
The forests and the streams

Children gaze open-mouthed
Taken by surprise
Nobody down below
Believes their eyes

We’re surfing in the air
We’re swimming in the frozen sky
We’re drifting over icy
Mountains floating by

Suddenly swooping low
On an ocean deep
Rousing up a mighty monster
From his sleep

We’re walking in the air
We’re dancing in the midnight sky
And everyone who sees us
Greets us as we fly

  1. Hi WOL, was thinking about you this morning so thought I’d see how you been doing. Been a rough year 2019 for us. I not been writing at all, too much work to do looking after my husband. I love ‘The Snowman’ it’s enchanting. Admirable how many books you read in a year! We off to the Vet later, our biggest-oldest cat needs head xrays….it’s not looking good. She’s 14. Reading the news worrying this morning too, oh I hope those troops in the desert are ok. I love the poem that comes first on your side wall, oh! If we just had wings.

  2. Definitely not a yawn, WOL. Thanks.

I’ve been listening to a lot of music in your music category, most of which I enjoy very much. Another thank you.
