I ran across these two pictures in a blog post by Twisted Sifter, which were entries in the 2017 Nat Geo Nature Photographer of the Year contest. These are for Shore Acres, because she’s into wildlife photography. They’re also beautifully abstract images.
My burrow, "La Maison du Hibou Sous Terre" is located on the flatlands of West Texas where I live with my computer, my books, and a lot of yarn waiting to become something.

Both are beautiful and intriguing images and any photographer could be justifiably proud of having produced them.
Wowsers!!! Those are great, great images. I’ve never seen that much duckweed in one place, but it’s really cool. As for that heron, it’s just a show-stopper. It’s been so long since I’ve been out with my camera I hardly can remember how to use it, but I’m going to give it a go this weekend. This is great inspiration to get rolling again. Thanks!
